Sometimes the tree is already down - a storm did it, a previous crew left the wood, or a weekend chainsaw project got bigger than the truck. What's left is a pile you have no way to move: logs too heavy to lift, brush too bulky to bag, and a burn ban that isn't budging.
We cut oversized wood down to loadable pieces, chip the brush, load it all, and haul it off the property. That covers storm wood, leftover log piles, fence-line cuttings, and the mess behind the shed that's been 'next weekend' for two years. If part of the pile is good firewood you want kept, we'll buck and stack it instead of hauling it.

How a debris run works
Text photos of the pile to (920) 242-2560 - one wide shot, one close, and a look at the access - and you'll usually have a firm number the same day. Debris runs schedule fast because there's no felling involved: we show up, cut anything oversized down to loadable pieces, chip the brush, load it all, and leave.
That covers storm wood the insurance job left behind, the pile a previous crew called 'not in the contract,' fence-line cuttings, and the heap behind the shed that's outlasted three burn bans. If part of the pile is honest firewood you want to keep, we'll buck it to stove length and stack it instead of hauling it.
Backyard piles are fine - the equipment fits through most gates, and what it can't reach we carry. The lawn gets raked where the pile sat, because a debris job isn't done if it still looks like one.

Common questions
Do you haul debris you didn't cut?
Yes - storm wood, another crew's leftovers, your own chainsaw work. If it came off a tree, we'll load it and haul it. No judgment on the pile's origin - half our debris runs start with 'the other guys left it' or 'the chainsaw was more fun than the hauling.' If it grew on a tree, we load it.
Can I just get a price from a photo?
Usually, yes. A couple of phone photos showing the pile and the access typically gets you a firm number by text - it's the fastest way to book a debris run. Two photos do it: one wide enough to show the whole pile, one showing the path a wheelbarrow or machine would take to reach it. Odd cases get an in-person look, still free.
What do you do with the wood?
Chipped or hauled to be processed - and if you want the log wood kept for firewood, we'll buck it to length and stack it instead. Clean log wood has an afterlife - firewood mostly - and brush becomes chips. Nothing goes to a landfill that can be processed instead.
Is there anything you won't haul?
We haul tree debris - wood, brush, chips. Construction material, trash, and soil are a different kind of hauler. The line is simple: if it grew, we haul it. Lumber, treated wood, shingles, and soil belong to a different kind of hauler, and mixing them into a brush pile is worth mentioning before we quote.
Can you take a pile from the curb or backyard?
Either. Backyard piles just need a path for the equipment or a bit more carrying - mention the access and gates when you send the photos. Curbside is the quick version. For backyards, gate width and distance decide whether the chipper backs up to the pile or the pile walks to the chipper - mention both in the photos and the quote will be accurate.
